To Kihachiro Onitsuka, the sunflower was more than a flower—it was a symbol of relentless ambition, always reaching for the light. Late in life, this symbol became the focus of his artwork, a reflection of his visionary spirit.
As part of the Onitsuka Centennial Celebration, Asics honored this legacy with the launch of the KO100 Series, uniting the three brands he created under one campaign: “Stand With The Sun.”
In partnership with Saatchi, Process Creative was challenged with bringing this story to life in a way that was both artful and deeply personal. We crafted a product film that unveiled the Limited Edition KO100 Series, blending stunning visuals with a narrative that echoed Mr. Onitsuka’s passion for creativity and perseverance.
Through bold cinematography, immersive storytelling, and a nod to his artistic legacy, we helped Asics celebrate 100 years of vision, innovation, and inspiration.
